Z -- STRIP & COAT CONCRETE FLOORS SOL RAQ000007 DUE 041200 POC Kay Ryan, 208-387-5717 The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) has a requirement to strip, condition, and coat the concrete floors in two warehouse buildings on the NIFC complex located in Boise, Ada County, Idaho. Work shall consist of: (a) cleaning the concrete floor surfaces by removing all coatings, films, and membranes, (b) restoring the concrete surfaces by repairing and patching cracks and worn areas, (c) conditioning the cleaned concrete surface to accept the concrete floor coating product, (d) coating the cleaned concrete surface with a non-toxic urethane product, (e) providing at least a one year warranty on the product and workmanship, (f), cleaning and disposing of materials from the site, and (g) providing instructions and recommendations on maintenance and preventive upkeep. The main warehouse area is approximately 18,000 sq ft and the return warehouse is approximately 12,500 sq ft in size. All work shall be completed by June 1, 2000. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and SIC 1799, Special Trade Contractors, N.E.C. applies. The small business size standard is $7.0 million for the past three fiscal years. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used for award and Davis-Bacon labor rates apply. The estimated value of this requirement is less than $100,000.
