Furnish all materials, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to accomplish pot-hole repair and spot-leveling with 1-2 inches of hot bituminous pavement (asphalt), and apply hot spray paint pavement markings (broken yellow center line, solid yellow center line, and solid white edge line) on a section of the Natchez Trace Parkway, a unit of the National Park Service. This 12 mile section of Parkway begins at the intersection of the Parkway and Interstate 20 in Clinton, Mississippi, at milepost 87.0 and runs south to milepost 75.0, crossing through Hinds county. Estimated quantities in this job are: hot bituminous pavement=1,600 tons; 4" wide broken yellow centerline stripe=8 miles; 4" wide solid yellow centerline stripe=5 miles; 4" wide solid white edge stripe=24 miles. Contract award is anticipated to occur in time for operations to commence in early summer (2000); work shall be concluded within 45 days of the start date.
