DATES APPEARING IN THE FOLLOWING ANNOUNCEMENT REFLECT DATE CORRECTIONS. The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Watercraft Systems Management Office (WSMO) is planning the acquisition of the Modular Causeway System with contract award planned in calendar year 2000. TACOM is requesting industry feedback, and is hosting an Industry Day on 14/15 MARCH 00 at Curtis Bay Coast Guard Yard, Baltimore, Maryland for those interested in the acquisition of the Modular Causeway System (MCS). This Industry Day will provide interested firms an opportunity to receive an overview of the acquisition and schedule, view the existing MCS and ask general questions of the Government. This invitation to participate in the Industry Day does not constitute an invitation for bid or a request for proposal. Currently the solicitation is scheduled for release in April 2000 with contract award targeted for Sept. 00.
