The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure BF Goodrich -- Fairbanks Morse/Alco Engine Division Cylinder Heads, NSN 2815-01-458-8784, Part Number 22200243, and Installation Kits, NSN 2815-01-466-2749, Part Number 25000601, in support of the Main Diesel Engines installed onboard the 210' WMEC, 270' WMEC, and 400' WAGB Coast Guard vessels. The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center intends to solicit ONLY BF Goodrich-Fairbanks Morse/Alco Engine Division (OEM) and/or their authorized distributors. It is the Government's belief that ONLY the OEM possesses the necessary technical information, engineering data, and specifications required to manufacture these Cylinder Heads to ensure form, fit, and function compatibility with existing equipment. The Government DOES NOT possess the necessary drawings, technical specifications, etc., to supply with the solicitation. This information is proprietary to the OEM. However, other potential sources may submit information about their capabilities to supply these Cylinder Heads. Concerns that respond to this notice MUST FULLY DEMONSTRATE their capability by submitting the following information: (1) Data that the offered parts have been successfully manufactured for the Government or for the OEM, which includes complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics); and (2) Data that the offered parts have been previously provided to the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
