The Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project is soliciting quotations for purchase of fifteen (15) pump control panels. San Carlos Irrigation Project is located at 13805 North Arizona Boulevard, Coolidge, Arizona 85228. Coolidge is located in Pinal County in Central Arizona. The pump control panels are to be for part winding motor, in weather proof cabinet, for outdoor installation, with main circuit breaker, three phase, 480 volt 60 cycle A.C., overcurrent protection in all six (6) motor leads; undervoltage protection with single phase reverse phase current style relay, with special time delay relay for automatic restarting after power failure, with "HANDS-OFF-AUTO" selector switch, with "TEST" push button for starting when in hand mode for controlling deep well turbine pump "part winding" motor as follows: STARTERS: Magnetic type, for increment part winding motor, each contactor to be ample size with easily serviced contacts, capable of interrupting ten times the normal running currentof the individual motor windings, contactors to open all three phases and be wired and equipped to open positively in case of under voltage or loss of voltage, starter is not to go through restart sequence if selector switch is set for hand operation unless "TEST" push button is actuated. If selector switch is in "AUTOMATIC" position, starter is to go through restart sequence after definite time interval as set by timing relay provided voltage has returned to normal. OVER-CURRENT PROTECTION: Six (6)each; one for each motor lead, to be of temperature compensated type to insure accuracy of current measurement from 0 degree to 160 degree fahrenheit. To be magnetic type dast pot compensated, adjustable from 80 to 120% of full current of individual motor winding with manual reset facilities. Tripping of any one unit to open both main contactors. Shall be five (5) ampere rating with current transformers in motor leads. TIME DELAY RELAY: A relay adjustable to 0.2 to 180 seconds, sequences the starter contactors during starting sequence. SINGLE PHASE/REVERSE PHASE RELAY: Current sensing type, to open control circuit of starter when motor current becomes dangerously unbalanced or when phases reversed, with manual reset features. To be connected with over-current protection of first closing contactor current transformers. TIME DELAY RELAY: A relay inserted in the control circuit to restart pump at a pre-determined time after power failure or undervoltage conditions and return of normal voltage. Relay to be adjustable from one minute to fifteen minutes or more and will be connected to the "AUTOMATIC" control circuit. CABINET: To be of heavy gauge steel sheet metal, weatherproof construction, freestanding, for outdoor installation in desert country, with lifting eyes to facilitate field installation, finished in grey enamel. Power access and exit will be through side and bottom entrance conduit spaces provided. The following is required: 150 horsepower, minimum of NEMA size 4 (10 each) and 200 horsepower, minimum of NEMA size 5 (5 each). Partial shipments are acceptable, please give estimated ship date(s).
