99 -- ELECTRICAL WORK SOL USZA99-00-Q-0078 DUE 032800 POC Thelma Escobar, 757-492-7960 x2228 This is a combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Quotation; proposals are being requested and a separate written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. This Request for Quotation is not a Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 52.219-1. Clin 0001, Emergency lighting in Aft House Control Room Cabin Deck Passageway & Stairs, Main Deck Passageway, One in each quadrant of #7 upper hold, One each port/stbd #7 lower hold, One inside each gen set. Additional lighting along aft bulkhead of control room. Three to four recessed lights to properly illuminate work area. Add a "Panic Button" and strobe light to #7 lower hold. Enunciator gauges for both generators in control room to be mounted on either aft bulkhead or stbd bulkhead. Replace crane lighting with 150w HPS. Install new cabling from crane house to fixture. Fixture is to be installed so that it can be quickly/easily removed. New cable is to be run in rigid conduit. Any receptacles, boxes, etc will be rigid. All material are to be provided by installer.
