The U.S. Army Industrial Operations Command (HQ, IOC) intends to issue solicitation DAAA09-00-R-5047 in accordance with guidelines of OMB Circular Number A-76 entitled "Performance of Commercial Activities" at Rock Island Arsenal (RIA), Rock Island, Illinois. This solicitation will be issued on a full and open competitive basis to solicit for non-personal services to perform RIA base operations function of information technology. This will be a firm fixed price contract with a one-year contract including a transition period and four (4) one-year options. This solicitation will be issued "Subject to Availability of Funds" on a "Short of Award" basis. Solicitation will be issued on or about 3 May 2000, with an estimated closing date of 7 July 2000. A pre-solicitation conference and site-visit will be held shortly after the issue date. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8744.
