A -- DAP-TITLE-III Air Force Research Laboratory, (AFRL/MLMP ) announces an informational meeting to industry for a planned acquisition. This is not a pre-solicitation notice requesting preparation and submission of proposals. Therefore do not prepare and submit a proposal in response to this announcement. Any proposals submitted will be disposed of, unopened. The Defense Production Act Title III Program Office (AFRL/MLMP) is planning a procurement to establish a domestic, merchant manufacturing capability for thin film dielectric coatings. The project is envisioned to last approximately 36 months and focus on production process improvement, cost reduction, capacity expansion, strategic analysis and business planning. The meeting will be held Monday 20 March 2000, 9 am EST, at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH., Area B., Bldg. 653, Room 223.
