Truman Library, Independence, MO. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price, indefinite quantity contract for the an initial period of one (1) year with the Government's unilateral option to extend for four (4) consecutive additional 12 month periods. The contractor shall be licensed by the State of Missouri to provide armed security guard services. The contractor must manage and provide a professional armed, uniformed protective security force to protect the cultural property of the United States. Qualification of personnel working under the contract shall at a minimum be 21 years old, possess a high school education or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 years of experience within the last 5 years as a Security officer. All shall have a minimum of 470 hours of academy training for a police officer. Supervisors shall meet these qualification as well as additional qualification as stated in the solicitation. Contractor shall provide all necessary training administrative support, uniforms, equipment, materials and supplies necessary for the required guard services. Technical Evaluation Factors are as follows: (1) Management Plan (700 points), (2) Past Related Corporate Experience and Performance (300 points). Award will be made to that offer providing the greatest value to the government. The requirement is a 100% small business set-aside.
