Contractor shall furnish all transportation and labor, and some materials and equipment, required to conduct a course of instruction to train up to 30 aircraft painters to achieve reductions in emissions of VOCs, HAPs, and the generation and disposal of hazardous waste. Training to be conducted on site at Davis-Monthan AFB AZ. Work includes, but is not limited to: academic instruction providing an overview of paints and coatings and their impact on air pollution, spray application equipment, and environmental regulations in regard to aerospace and surface coating operations; and hands-on training for six to eight novice painters in maximizing transfer efficiency. The period of performance is expected not to exceed four days. Actual date is open. The Government will furnish facilities and all spray equipment and materials required for the hands-on training, as well as facilities and audiovisual equipment required for academic training. This solicitation is set aside exclusively for small businesses.
