ISSUE DATE: MARCH 28, 2000. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal required to make repairs to the Annisquam Light, Gloucester, MA. Work includes removing asphalt shingle roof at garage and dwelling, new heavyweight asphalt shingle roofing, new plywood roof deck overlay. Specialized work includes rebuilding exterior brickwork at the lighthouse at bulging and cracked areas. This includes shoring, removing existing, and new brick. Rebuild interior brickwork at watch deck and at 3 tower lintels. Remove existing wood lintels and provide new pre-cast or granite lintels; replace existing glass block in tower with new; replace or repair 2 iron beams under watch deck, and level watch deck; this includes painting beams. Repoint interior brickwork under watch deck and lantern deck; repoint cracked/open joints at the granite block foundation of the lighthouse. Paint exterior wood trim at lighthouse vestibule, and related incidental work. SIC code is 1799. Estimated cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
