(1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (2) Solicitation No. DAKF06-00-T-0039. This solicitation is being issued as a "Request for Quotation (RFQ). (3) The solicitation documents, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. (4) The proposed contract will be a 100% set-aside for Small Business within the State of Colorado. For this acquisition, the Small Business size standard is 500, and the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1794. (5) List of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure are as follows: ITEM NO.: 0001/ITEM: CRUSH ROCK/ QTY: 60,000/U/M: TONS. (6)Description of the requirement for items to be acquired: Crush rock, made of white limestone, no larger than 3/4 inch for use as road base. Performance period shall be 90 calendar days from date of award. (7) Contractor shall deliver to Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site at Intersection MSR 1 & MSR 3, approx. 35 miles east of Trinidad, CO. The Government will pick up and haul the crushed rock from contractor's location and deliver to Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site, if within a 20 mile radius. (8) The provisions in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial apply to this acquisition to include any addendas to the provision.
