synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance
with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is
N66604-00-Q-2877. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in
effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-4. This is 100%
set-aside for small business. SIC Code is 3577; size standard is 1000
employees. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center intends to purchase the
following items from GSH Intelligent Integrated Systems, 97 Fairmount
St., Fitchburg, Ma 01420 the following items: Item 001:SPARCSTATION
ULTRA 2, Model-ultrarev 300, 512mb, dual TX4 split video preset, 2.1GB,
CD,floppy, GSH P/N UR20x300-V4-512-21G-CDF, Qty (4). Item 002: SUN 20"
Trinitron Monitor with remote, Qty: (2), Item 003: ITAC Industrial
Trackball for SUN, Qty. (2). GSH Intelligent Integrated Systems is
believed to be the only vendor who can provide these items and meet the
requirements of the motherboard with the form factor of a SPARC 20
pizza box. The UltraREV 20x300 also provides S-bus I/O architecture
that is needed for high-resolution graphics. GSH is the only known
vendor that has the hardware and software compatibility with existing
Division resources and computational throughput. However, all qualified
vendors may submit offers which will be evaluated fairly. Required
delivery is two weeks after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station
Newport; Newport, RI. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors --
Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR
52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are
technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally
important. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and
Certifications -- Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. FAR
52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items and
52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes
or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001,
Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or
Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items
