The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has a requirement for the provision of wireless telephone services for approximately 1,900 telephones in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The contractor shall be responsible for connecting DOJ's Washington Area Switch Program (WASP2) switch to a Washington Area wireless provider's switch. The wireless switch must be compatible and interoperable with the WASP2 Nortel DMS100 switch and OCTEL Overture 350 voice mail system. The Government's anticipated period of performance is one year plus four additional option periods of one year each. The solicitation document will be available about March 30, 2000 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site, http://www.eps.gov.
