The proposed acquisition is for issuance of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Government Electronic Systems. The contract includes material and engineering and technical services required for production/rework, testing, evaluation, installation and life cycle support functions, including equipment changes, repair, and spare and repair parts for FCS MK 92 system. This effort also includes system design and integration, test and evaluation and data analysis, computer program development and maintenance, Mk 92 FCS production/rework, Integrated Logistic Support and maintenance engineering, system installation support, fleet on-site technical support, and system operation and maintenance training. This requirement is a follow-on to Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N63394-98-G-2111. This requirement is for a base year with four option periods, with an estimated start date of 30 September 2000. The estimated level of effort for this requirement is 96,922 labor hours for the base year; 238,269 labor hours for Option Period 1; 39,208 labor hours for Option Period 2; 45,530 for Option Period 3; and 38,407 labor hours for Option Period 4.
