Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to repair the existing haul-out apron by removing deteriorated asphalt and extending load bearing concrete to the extents shown on the drawings. Incidental work not expressly described in this scope of work nor indicated on drawings although necessary to complete the project shall be included. Work will include: Cut and remove asphalt surrounding the haul-out apron and replace underlying sub-grade material with new aggregate base. Preparation, grading and compacting of the remaining substrate and new aggregate base shall be included. Shape and place reinforcing steel within the apron extension as shown. Drill and set reinforcing steel dowels into existing concrete to connect the concrete extension to the existing apron. Use only ACI approved ties; chairs and accessories to attain rigidly secured reinforcing steel network. Extend fiberboard along joints as indicated. Place and consolidate concrete within the limits shown to surround and extend the boat haul-out apron. Concrete shall be placed to assure that footings along edges and control joints are monolithic with the new concrete. Finishing of exposed concrete surfaces shall be included. Seal the top of all fiberboard joint material with an elastomeric or bituminous sealant as indicated. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code assigned to this project is 1771. Estimated range of the project is less than $25,000; therefore pursuant to FAR 52.219-20, Notice of Emerging Small Business Set-Aside (JAN 1991), offers or quotations under this acquisition are solicited from emerging small business concerns only. Offers that are not from an emerging small business shall not be considered and shall be rejected. _Emerging small business_ as used in this solicitation, means a small business concern whose size is no greater than 50 percent of the numerical size standard applicable to the SIC code assigned to a contracting opportunity. The numerical size standard applicable for SIC code 1771 is $7.0 million. Therefore, the Offeror's average annual gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years can not exceed $3.5 million in order to be considered. Performance Period is 30 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. A due date for quotes has not been scheduled.
