Saint Louis, Contracting Officer; 304/636-1800, ext 265; FAX 304/636-1875 The Monongahela National Forest anticipates awarding one or more contracts for Forest-Wide Road Maintenance on the Cheat/Potomac, Greenbrier, Marlinton/White Sulphur, and Gauley Ranger Districts in Pendleton, Pocahontas, Randolph, Tucker, Grant, Preston, Greenbrier, Nicholas, and Webster Counties, West Virginia. The work includes items for surface blading, cleaning and reshaping ditches, and cleaning culverts on more than 400 miles of Forest roads spread among 5 separate bid items. A new requirement this year will require a separate grader for each item awarded, unless the surface blading miles for the total items awarded is less than 100 miles. It is anticipated that work will begin as soon as the contract is awarded. The project is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid for consideration.
