Background "This CBD announcement constitutes a Notice of Contracting Action (NOCA). The C-130 Avionics Modernization Program (AMP) Development Systems Office (DSO), Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) announces the Request For Proposal (RFP) release for the C-130 AMP to include avionics upgrade to 500+ C-130 aircraft. A single prime contractor will be selected to perform design, development, integration, fabrication, testing, installation, installation support, and logistics support of the avionics modernization of the C-130 Fleet. This acquisition will also include upgrade and/or replacement of existing training systems. The competition will include award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to the same prime contractor for future C-130 modifications that impact the AMP modification.
