The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), National Risk Management Research Laboratory, Subsurface Protection and Remediation Division, located at the Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Center in Ada, OK has a requirement for a Carbon Analyzer for the analysis of solids and liquids. The Carbon Analyzer shall be able to determine the quantities of Total Carbon (TC), Total Organic Carbon (TOC), and Total Inorganic Carbon (TIC) in both solid and liquid samples. The system also shall be able to determine Surface Carbon, i.e., organic or inorganic carbon forms deposited on metal, ceramic, or mineral surfaces. The analytical range of the instrument shall be able to accommodate samples with carbon concentrations ranging from 10 ppm to near 100% carbon. The vendor shall deliver the system to the Ada OK facility within 120 days after purchase order award. The vendor shall install the instrument within 30 days after delivery. The vendor shall provide at least one day of on-site training to at least3 operators upon installation, covering total system operations. The vendor shall provide a one year warranty at minimum. This acquisition is being processed under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is designated as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The SIC code is 3826 (500 employees, maximum).
