The Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) has a requirement for sustained and uninterrupted particle analysis operations supporting the Nuclear Debris Collection & Analysis Program Area. The equipment assets necessary to ensure uninterrupted particle analysis operations are manufactured by Canberra Industries, 800 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT 06450. The items support continued development and production analysis by highly specialized laboratory equipment. The items are as follows; (a) Canberra Model 2025, Automatic Fine Tuning (AFT) Research Spectroscopy Amplifier featuring automatic critical performance adjustments optimization characteristics; and (b) Canberra Model GC4019, Germanium Coaxial Detector mounted on Canberra Model 7500SL Slimline Vertical Dipstick/Cryostat with 30 liter Dewar (unit includes Model 2002C Preamplifier with 3 meter bias, high voltage inhibit, signal, and power cables). The assets are used by a contracted laboratory in direct support of the USAEDS mission. Delivery/Acceptance will be at Los Alamos Laboratory, New Mexico. The government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Canberra Industries, 800 Research Parkway, Meriden CT under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. No solicitation exists at this time for this requirement.
