The Immigration and Naturalization Service, Dallas, Texas is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS with a standard industrial classification code of 7999, for the rental of horses for patrolling borders, and a small business size standard of $5.0M. Two contracts are anticipated to be awarded as a result of this synopsis. Term of the contracts is for a period starting from date of award, approximately April 1, 2000, for the Base period with a one one-year option period. Quantities are estimates only.
