The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Perkin Eelmer LLC 761 Main Street, Norwalk, CT 06859-0241. This requirement is for remedial and preventative maintenance of Perkin Elmer Scientific Analytical Systems. The systems consists of the following: Auto System Gas Chromatography System including GC Autosystem I-IV, Extra GC Detector, Nelson 900 Series Interface, GC Headspace HS40 and GC Software Support; 1650 Fourier Transform Infared Spectrometer System consisting of a 1650 FTIR and IR software support; Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrophotometry System consisting of GC Autosystem, GCM Q-Mass-910, LSC-2000 and GC/GCMS Software support; Lambda 2UV/VIS Spectrometer consisting of UV Lambda 2 and UV software support; 5100 Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry System consisting of AA 5100, 5100ZL Furnace Modul, MHS-10 Power Supply, AutosamplerAS-70, EDL Power Supply and AA software support; Inductively Coupled Plasma consisting of ICP P-400, AS-90 Auto Sampler and ICP software support; Auto System Gas Chromatography System consisting of GC Autosystem I-IV, GC Head Space HS 40, 1000 Hall Detector, 970 Interface, 610 Interface and GC software support; Auto System Gas Chromatography System consisting of GC Auto System I-IV, GCM Q-MASS-910, GC Headspace HS 40, HP Laser Jet-4 and GC/GCMS software support. The period of performance is base period of six (6) months with four 94) one year option periods. Plance of performance will be at the Naval Aviation Depot, Materials Engineering Laboratory, Jacksonville, FL. Interested parties are invited to submit a response within two weeks after publication of this notice to submit their qualifications/capabilities. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The solicitation is issued pursuaant to FAR 6.302-1 and FAR Part 13. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract on a full and open competition basis, based on the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
