SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR POWER CONDITIONING AND CONTINUATION INTERFACING EQUIPMENT This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis. The following information is provided to assist potential contractors who have the skills, experience, expertise, knowledge, and facilities required to successfully complete the effort described below. OO-ALC, Hill AFB, UT intends to award a contract to provide equipment, installation, and maintenance of static uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. Sources are being sought for potential offerors who have the skills, experience, expertise, knowledge, and facilities to successfully manufacture/provide commercial (10 kVA and above) static UPS systems (including batteries and ancillary equipment); provide site survey capability, design survey capability, deinstallation of UPS systems capability, preventative and emergency maintenance capability, training support, transportation and shipping, spare parts kits, technical documentation, and on-call world wide support capability for the UPS systems. The UPS systems will be for both Air Force and non-Air Force locations. The systems will be installed and maintained at world wide locations. Extended and/or standard commercial warranties are required. The Air Force will acquire these supplies and services through a five year (3 yr basic and two 1 yr options) requirements contract using FAR Part 15, DFARS Part 15, AFFARS Part 15, and AFMCFARS Part 15 Source Selection procedures. It is intended that the contract will be awarded under Firm Fixed Price and Fixed Price pricing arrangements with Time and Material line items to accommodate unidentified/unscheduled emergency maintenance and Cost Reimbursable, No Fee line items for travel and subsistence. Potential offerors are requested to provide a summary (including company brochures) of the capabilities they have which will allow them to provide equipment and services for the aforementioned static UPS systems. Any information which is indicative of the offeror's capabilities to successfully perform this effort will be accepted. The government does not intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Release or distribution of your response will be approved by the contracting officer. Interested parties are requested to submit three copies of the aforementioned summary of capabilities to Richard G.
