The Malmstrom AFB contracting office is seeking sources to help provide input into our market research for the following acquisition: Clean & Green contract which consists of Grounds Maintenance, Refuse Pickup/ Disposal, and Janitorial services. The above services are broken down as follows: 1. Grounds Maintenance: The contractor will furnish all labor, tools, supervision, materials, equipment, and other items necessary to perform Grounds Maintenance on an estimated 435 improved acres and 469 semi-improved acres. Services include but is not limited to vegetation control, edging, trimming, maintain 9 sports fields, maintain new and existing trees, hydroseed, and other common grounds maintenance tasks. 2. Refuse pickup/ disposal: The contractor will furnish all labor, tools, supervision, materials, equipment, and other items necessary to perform Refuse pickup/disposal on an estimated yearly projection of 5500 tons of base refuse, 1295 tons military family housing refuse, 300 tons of recyclables, 10 calls for asbestos filled dumpsters, 400 calls for various sized dumpsters 20 yd to 35 yds. 3. Janitorial services: The contractor will furnish all labor, tools, supervision, materials, equipment, and other items necessary to perform Janitorial Services on an estimated 39 Buildings to include a gymnasium and movie theatre. Estimated sq. footage covered by Janitorial Services is presently unavailable due to study to update Sq. footage. Tasks vary from building to building, but basically covers floors, walls, glass, and trash removal. We would prefer to develop a performance-based contract with incentives designed to encourage best quality service at best price.
