The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC) is conducting a market survey, to identify potential sources for engineering services to support the M240 Machine Gun and the M249 Squad Assault Weapon. The engineering services sought include, but are not limited to, the following: investigation and development of solutions for performance and interface problems, modification of the Technical Data Package, weight reduction, reliability improvements, feasibility studies, and fabrication of prototype tooling and test components. Please be advised that this is not a request for the submission of offers or proposals; no contract award will be made as a result of this notice.
