The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, has a competitive requirement to include furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to design, fabricate and install a digital alphanumeric radio paging system for McNary Lock and Dam, Umatilla County, Oregon. The system will provide coverage for the powerhouse, navigation lock, fishways, all galleries, juvenile fish facility, warehouses, outbuildings and grounds. The system will be accessed by telephone for numeric input and by key entry devices or by other devices such as computers, connected to the Corps of Engineers LAN for alphanumeric input. The system will be designed to support numeric and alphanumeric paging at frequencies at or above 500 MHz. A tentative listing of the main factors to be evaluated are as follows: 1) technical factors, 2) technical qualifications, 3) past performance, and 4) cost. Proposals will be evaluated on criteria listed in the solicitation. PROCUREMENT UNRESTRICTED. For reporting purposes the size standard for small business concerns under Standard Industrial Classification Code 3663 is the average employment on a full-time, part-time, temporary, or other basis during each of the pay periods of the preceding 12 months, shall not exceed 750 employees.
