SOURCES SOUGHT The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at Edwards AFB has a requirement for a wireless communication system to augment Land Mobile Radio (LMR), cellular telephone and paging services. The service must be commercially available and use _commercial off-the-shelf equipment_ (COTS). The end user equipment must be a single device to support; 1 to 1 and 1 to many radio calls, telephone, paging, voice-mail and data requirements. The overall system must seamlessly integrate with existing LMR and PBX equipment in a campus style architecture. The system should also provide wide area coverage over the entire base and out-lying communities. The telephone and paging services must be available nationwide within major metropolitan areas. The subscriber units must be managed and configured by government personnel, this includes fleetmap structure and subscriber configuration. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package detailing system capabilities which meet the above requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12.
