The National Science Foundation has a need for publication requirements -- SIC code 7338 (size standard five million dollars ($5M) for its Division of Science Resources Studies (SRS). This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside (see Note 1). The Government INTENDS to make multiple awards for these services. Each award will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Each award will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement with orders to be issued on a firm fixed price basis. The period of performance for each award will be a two-year base period, which may be renewable on an annual basis for up to a total of five (5) years. ORDERS WILL NOT EXCEED THOSE LIMITS SET FORTH IN FAR PART 13, SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. ONE OR MORE OF THE ORDERS UNDER THE RESULTANT BPAs MAY EXCEED $25K. The scope of work includes two primary areas: Statistical editing (substantive, copy editing, proofreading); Desktop publishing (composition, graphic and table creation, formatting of statistical tables according to pre-established format specifications, providing finished documents in PageMaker 6.5 for Windows). Contractors may submit quotations in one or both primary areas. The contractor must possess, and be able to demonstrate, all skills within each primary area.
