Hager-Sharp, Inc. for a 7-month continuation of Contract N02-CO-51033
for use of the mass media in public education. The project includes
promotion of clinical trials, strategic communications planning, media
training for NCI scientists, outreach to minority media and to women's
magazines, Cancer Information Service promotion, support for the
5-a-Day for Better Health program and the Cancer Research Awareness
Initiative, an institute-wide branding program, and educational
activities on I-131. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in
FAR 6.302-1. Inherent duplication of cost to the Government and
unacceptable delays in completing these projects make competition
unfeasible during the recompetition period. See numbered Note 22.
