Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound intends to rent one each ultra-high pressure water jet crawler, which must be compatible with Puget Sound Naval Shipyard existing closed loop cycle UHP water jet system and vacuum system (1400 ICFM and 15-in Hg) in the water recovery trailer. The anticipated rental period is 17 Apr -- 23 Jun 00, with an option for one additional month. Additionally, the Government requires one Technical Representative on site at PSNS for an estimated 120 hours to train Government personnel and provide field assistance in the use of the water jet crawler during the rental period. Offerors will be required to provide sufficient technical information to assure the Government that the proposed crawler will function successfully with the existing PSNS equipment. Place of performance is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton WA; FOB Destination. This acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR 13.5. All offerors are hereby put on notice that in accordance with FAR 5.203,the RFQ will have less than a 30-day response time. This procurement is unrestricted.
