This contract will have a base year and 4 potential option years for a possible total of 5 years. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the following work in 1465 military family housing (MFH) units assigned to Charleston AFB, of which 500 units are located in Hunley Park across Dorchester road from the main base. The work includes interior and exterior painting; wood parquet floor refinishing; walls and ceiling refinishing; vinyl floor covering (sheet vinyl) stripping, waxing, removal, surface preparation, and installation; vinyl-composite tile (VCT) stripping, waxing, removal, surface preparation, and installation; wallpaper removal; asbestos abatement associated with parquet floors; pressure washing of exteriors; fabricate/install name signs and brackets; wood trim removal and installation; and repairs and insulation of exterior vinyl siding. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted and will be evaluated under the HUBZONE preference program.
