The VA Boston Healthcare System, VA Medical Center, 150 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts 02130-4893 seeks a contractor to provide all labor, tools, material and equipment to prepare the basement of the Research Building for Project 523-98-003 Nitrogen Gas System Renovation. All work shall be in strict compliance with the Specifications and Drawings. The work includes electrical and mechanical upgrades, architectural finishes and some exterior work. The project requires the work to be completed in accordance with VA specifications and drawings, Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA),National Electric Codes, National Fire Protection Association,and Joint Commission Accreditation Health Organization (JCAHO)requirements. Contract completion time is 180 calendar days after issuance and subsequent receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Cost Range is between $100,000.00 $250,000.00 and the solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) is 1542 and the Size Standard is $17.0 million. Interested concerns shall submit a written request to the Contracting Officer (90C)accompanied by a $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE.
