District, Corps of Engineers, has a requirement for eleven each air to
water heat exchangers, coil assembly per drawing CJP-O&M-550, nominal
length seven feet, and nine each air to water heat exchangers, coil
assembly per drawing CJP-O&M-550, nominal length seven feet and six
inches. Delivery 120 days to Chief Joseph Dam, Bridgeport, Washington.
Heat exchangers are steel framed with copper/nickel tubes and
approximately seven feet and four inches with 144 finned tubes per
assembly. All tubes finned and .035 inches average wall 90/10 CU/NI.
Water deflector baffle plate added as per CJP-O&M-309. All coil
assemblies hydrostatic tested by contractor at their facility.
Hydrostatic testing at no less than 150 PSIG for 15 minutes with no
leakage. Certificate of test for each coil. Final inspection and FOB
destination at Chief Joseph Dam Project. This solicitation will be
issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. EBS CD-ROM
disks with plans and specs available on or about 14 April 2000 at no
charge per set. EBS CD-ROM disks will be issued on a first come, first
served basis until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted.
Firms desiring consideration must request a copy of the solicitation,
RFP No. DACW67-00-B-0020, in writing within ten calendar days after the
date therein. Requests may be made: (1) by e-mail to: plans-room-cenws-
ct@usace.army.mil, or (2) by completing the web request form for the
solicitation list at:

confirmation copy of your request need not be mailed. Please be sure to
include if you are a Prime, Sub or Plans Room. Plans and Specs may be
picked up from the Plans Room Monday through Friday between the hours
of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. local time. Submit requests by 7 April 2000.
Estimated dollar value is in the range of $100,000 through $250,000 and
completion period is 120 days. Standard Industrial Classification Code
is 3677. Project is open to both Small and Large Businesses. For the
purpose of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business
if its number of employees does not exceed 500 employees. Posted
