COMPACT DISC REPRODUCTION -- The requirement is for reproduction of Compact Discs -- Read Only -- Memory (CD-ROM) The specifications require producing CD-ROM masters replicated by glass mastering and molding from Government furnished pre-mastered data; replication of CD-ROMs; printing of titles on discs in 2 colors; plain mailers; packaging; mail list maintenance, shrink wrap or secure mailer, analysis and preparation of postal forms; mail label printing, and mailing. The 2 disc requirement shall be provided by insertion into a SBS 20 pt board mailer, separated by a slip sheet, labeled disk title and number of discs and then shrink wrapped. The mailer shall be labeled with a title The government will provide Federal Express expense. Mailing costs shall be included in contractor proposal. Mailers provided shall be acceptable by USPS. This solicitation is for a 4 disc set with a quantity of 8,283 sets 7297 CD Sets mailed; a 4-disc set with a quantity of 7,975 disc sets 7570 CD Sets mailed; a double disc set with a quantity of 6840 sets 0 discs mailed; a single disc with a quantity of 7960 discs 7296 CD Sets mailed. The quantities for the actual orders may vary by + or 5%. Delivery schedule is projected for the month of April and within 5 -- 7 workdays after receipt of order. Timely delivery is critical. Contractor shall have capability for CD mastering, CD replication, printing and assembly of mailers, and mailing.
