The United States Department of Agriculture/Office of Chief Information Officer/National Information Technology Center plans to issue a modification to Computer Associates on a sole source basis for maintenance and CPU upgrades for the CA suite of products used by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Foundation Financial Information Systems (FSIS). FAA is currently running on an IBM 9021-962 (288 MIPS), and FSIS is currently running on an IBM 9672-RC6 (317 MIPS). The products will be added to existing CA contract 53-3142-8-1001 as options to be renewed on an annual basis. The period of performance of the contrat 53-3142-8-1001 is 96 months from date of award of the contract is all options are excerised. The products used by FAA and FSIS are currently maintained under GSA schedule GS-35F-5169H. This is not a request for proposal. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Please submit your response to the Contracting Officer no later than March 28.
