Clemens, Contracting Officer On-site travel services to include travel reservations, ticketing, lodging and vehicle rental for personnel at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Camp H.M. Smith and Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii for official travel (and unofficial travel in support of and in conjunction with that official travel) requirements. The resultant contract will be a requirements contract providing fixed-price provisions allowing for a fee for service for each transaction. Services to be provided at two offices for the period of 1 October 2000 through 30 September 2001 plus eight (8) option periods of six (6) months duration. A Pre-proposal conference and a site visit will be scheduled after the solicitation is issued. This is a Best Value procurement and the contract resulting from this solicitation shall be awarded to that responsible, technically acceptable offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is determined the best value to the Government in terms of price and past performance. Offerors are advised that if during the term of the contract, DOD implements the DTS Regional Contract (s), and can provide the stated services, some or all of the options may not be exercised.
