This is NOT a presolicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5, but is a Market Survey to identify sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience necessary to build to print, qualify first articles, and manufacture the AIM-120 Captive Air Training Missile (CATM). Estimated requirements may be for approximately 50 to 75 CATMs per year for the next 4-5 years. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this survey. A Requirements Description and Contractor Capability Survey are available on the web at http://www.robins.af.mil/smallbusiness/catmi.doc The extent of foreign participation or level of security clearance required to receive a solicitation has not yet been determined. Therefore, participation in this survey may not necessarily result in your company being able to participate in the solicitation.
