No. 10400 POC William Bancroft, Contract Specialist, Facilities, Construction, Commodities, and Equipment Section, (770) 488-2611, Mailstop K-71 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to purchase on a sole source basis a Finnigan Mat 0724471 ESI System for the purpose of upgrading a CDC MAT95XL instrument. This upgrade accessory equipment includes pumping system, APCI sprayer and Micro ESI Head. CDC intends to purchase this system from Finnigan Mat, 255 Old New Brunswick Road, Picataway, NJ. Vendors who can offer an identical product at a comparable price may identify their interests in providing said equipment, submitting pricing data, an accurate description of the equipment offered, and make and model numbers of the equipment. Since no solicitation package exists, requests for such documents without accompanying information to establish the vendor's capability of meeting the Government's needs will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. Only responses containing this data will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will not be made on the basis of responses to this synopsis. If no feasible responses are received by the close of business 15 days from the date this notice appears in the CBD, a procurement will be named with the above named source.
