This is a correction to a previous notice posted on the Internet on 3/13/2000. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Economic Research Service (ERS), seeks a contractor(s) to support ERS's Food and Assistance Nutrition Research Program (FANRP). FANRP is responsible for conducting studies and evaluations of the Food Stamp, Child Nutritions and Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. This will be a multiple award contract. This will also be a partial small business set-aside. The Government anticipates at least one contract will be set aside for small business. This project has been designed to provide ERS with flexible means of collecting and analyzing primary and extant data, both of which ERS needs to inform policy and decision-making processes to effectively communicate studies and evaluations of USDA food and nutrition assistance programs. Some examples of these types of studies are: 1) USDA Food and Assistance Programs; 2) State and local administrative policiesand practices; 3) Federal Administrative policies and practices; and 4) Assessments of program outcomes and outcome based measures of program performance.
