The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to contract with Boeing North American, Inc., Autonetics & Missile Systems Division, Anaheim, CA. Boeing is only known source having: (1) the complete familiarity with the design of TRIDENT Ships Inertial Navigation System and Electrostatically Supported Gyro Monitor/Navigator Equipment, (2) the capability to maintain second level NAVSHOP operations at shipyards, and (3) the expertise necessary to maintain performance, reliability, and technical documentation.
