The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to install a PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM into four barracks located at Integrated Support Command, KODIAK, ALASKA. Minimum requirements shall consist of: one lockable roll around rack; a switching device; four each 100 watt amplifiers; one mixer; approximately 2500 linear foot of #12 shielded 2 conductor speaker wire; 50 each, 5 watt minimum output, 2 way directional wall mounted speakers; to be located on two levels of the four barracks buildings. System design MUST BE CERTIFIED BY A SOUND ENGINEER AND PLANS / DESIGNS SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL BEFORE FINAL AWARD. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The crawl space area has been identified and demarcated as an ASBESTOS DUST HAZARD and a Permit Required Confined Spaces area. The contractors program shall meet or exceed all requirements for CSE under 29 CFR1910.146 Permit Required Confined Space and all requirements for Asbestos Hazard, dust. All OSHA requirements and Coast Guard Safety requirements must be met. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE STATEMENT OF WORK AND DRAWINGS INCLUDED WITH THE BID PACKAGE. All work is required to be installed for a complete and usable facility. A Site Visit will be held approximately two weeks before project quotes are due. Attendance is highly encouraged. Performance period is approximately 60 days. Location: U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price is under $100,000.
