19 -- MULTI AGENCY CRAFT CONFERENCE POC Jason Marshall 757-686-7331 Description: The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Combatant Craft Department will be hosting the Multi Agency Craft Conference (MACC) at Little Creek Amphibious Base, Norfolk, Virginia, June 13 through 15, 2000. The MACC provides a forum for open exchange and discussion about boats and craft between Government agencies and the maritime community. This year, the focus is on the needs of operators and will bridge a variety of areas including operations and tactics, deployment and transportability, logistic supportability, reliability and maintainability, manpower and personnel, and human factors and safety. There will be presentations, keynote speakers, static displays, in water displays and demonstrations, and open information exchange. In addition, one day will feature a classified session (U.S. secret clearance required) to run in parallel with the normal non-classified session. Please consider attending, as members of the boat and craft communities from the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Special Forces, Coast Guard and other Government agencies gather to discuss common issues. A registration fee of $60.00 is required. Presentations from Government and commercial organizations are encouraged.
