This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-99-Q-0142 applies and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15 and Defense Change Notice 20000210. The standard industrial code is 3357 and the business size standard is 1000 employees or less. The requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001-2800 FT Coaxial type cable for use in submarine, type RG-264-C/U in accordance with MIL-C-23020/4, minimum of 200 FT lengths; CLIN 0002-1344 FT Triaxial RF Cable, 50 OHM, 0.66 diameter, double jacket, water-blocked, minimum of 449 FT lengths in accordance with Times Microwave Systems Drawing #AA-8299 meeting Mil-C-17 requirements. Certificates of Conformance required stating theb items tendered for acceptance meet the Military Specifications designated in the above descriptions. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane 90 days after effective date of award with inspection and acceptance at NSWC Crane, IN. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
