This is an Electronic Synopsis/Solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A Written Solicitation Will Not Be Issued. Solicitation #: N00164-00-Q-0143 applies and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15 and DCN 20000210. The standard industrial code is 3671 and the business size standard is 750 employees or less. The requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 Refurbishment of 25 Each Tube, Cath Ray Elect, Thomas Electronics' Part Number 8M183P4 (to be refurbished to meet the original equipment manufacturer's functional specifications). CLIN 0002 Refurbishment of 10 Each Tube, Cath Ray Elect, Thomas Electronics' Part Number 8M251P4 (to be refurbished to meet the original equipment manufacturer's functional specifications). Contractor shall submit test report with refurbished tubes. This requirement is issued on a Sole Source basis to Thomas Electronics, 208 Davis Parkway. Thomas Electronics is in possession of the proprietary drawings/specifications. The Government does not own rights to the drawings/specifications. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Delivery of the refurbished tubes is up to five (5) pieces per week, beginning 12 weeks after receipt of furnished tubes. Government Shipping terms are FOB Destination, NAVSURFWARCEN Division, Crane, IN with inspection and acceptance of the tubes at destination. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply. Administration of the Government Property to be furnished hereunder shall be by the Contracting Officer, Naval Surface warfare Center, Crane, Indiana 47522. The Government property to be furnished is identified as follows: 25 each Tube, Cath Ray Elect P/N 8M183P4 and 10 each Cath Ray Elect P/N 8M251P4. The offeror should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Establishment Code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
