Examples of the work required include, but are not limited to, background research; collection of oral history; development of site and installation management plans; preparation of National Register nomination forms; specialized studies to locate, evaluate, and interpret archaeological sites; archaeological reconnaissance; and development of research designs. The Contracts office intends to award firm fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts for a base period with four (4) additional option periods. Multiple awards may be made from this solicitation. The solicitation and resulting contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965, as Amended. The place of performance is unknown. Possible places or areas of performance which the Contracting Officer has requested wage determinations include: Shaw AFB NC, Poinsett Range SC, Ft Leonard Wood MO, Ft Riley KS,Canon AFB NM, Ft Bragg NC, Ft Stewart GA, Ft Campbell KY, Fort Irwin CA, Champaign IL, Springfield IL, and Albuquerque NM. The Contracting Officer will request wage determinations for additional possible places of performance if asked to do so in writing; however, requests for wage determinations for additional places must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 2:00 p.m., 10 days after the issue date of the solicitation. All responsible sources capable of providing the services requested are encouraged to submit a proposal.
