The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate and award on a sole-source basis, a contract with Babington Enterprises, 1113 Ingleside Ave, McLean, Virginia 22101, for maintenance and logistics services to provide intermediate through depot level support for 988 Tray Ration Heating System (TRHS) Airtronic Burners. This effort will include maintenance and component overhaul/repair of the Airtronic Burner, to include providing spare and repair parts. Babington Enterprises is the sole manufacturer of the TRHS and owns proprietary rights to the relevant technical data. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed-price contract for one base year and four option years. No other source is considered capable of performing the required effort.
