These requirements are for full time and part time positions for a base and a four (4) one-year option periods. The Coast Guard is also interested in receiving the following information from potential sources: 1) firms average lead time for replacing personnel and what factors impact replacement and retention, ie. Salary, location, type of service, benefit package, flexible schedules. 2) Industry average liquidated damages rates for long lead times in replacing medical/dental personnel as listed above; 3) methods used by firms for recruiting, processing and retaining qualified personnel as outlined above using technology and re-invented business practices to reduce lead time hiring and replacement. The current total value for these services range between $24M and $25M for a total of five years. Please provide a response by April 3, 2000.
