202-314-7851 The service will consist of providing armed physical
security services for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum,
located in District of Columbia. The contractor must be well
experienced in providing threat assessments, physical security, and
executive protection services. Contractor will be responsible for
providing professionally qualified, physically fit, highly skilled and
well trained armed and unarmed security officers to perform access
control, process large crowds (up to 10,000 per day) through
walk-through magnetometers, and process personal items through x-ray
scanning machines, provide executive protection for dignitaries,
monitor activities, detect and deter safety/security hazards and any
unauthorized, illegal, or potentially life threatening activities,
respond to and establish control during incidents, augment Control
Center operators, and assist visitors to the Museum. Contractor must
demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years experience in a single
established security services business with a high concentration of
experience in executive protection, dealing with high profile
principals and threat assessments in high visibility public facilities,
executive protection, law enforcement protection of personnel and
property (facilities and artifacts), and physical security. The
contractor must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years managing a
minimum of 50 armed security officers at one site. Services are
required twenty four (24) hours per day, every day of the year. The
contractor shall be required to work closely with and support Control
Center staff to coordinate Museum security, access control, and other
operations. The contractor shall maintain a local business office,
which has been establish no less than two years, maintain permanent
staff to perform the services and provide contract support at all
times, provide an instructor to develop and implement basic and
in-service educational programs security officers and the office must
be located within a fifty-mile radius of the Museum.Solicitation will
