The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, and laundry services for Government-Owned and/or rental of insulated & non-insulated coveralls, shirts & pants, shorts, smocks, caps, boots, jackets, shop towels, bath towels and washcloths. Clothing shall be lint and static free, flame retardant, and/or chemical and acid resistant. The clothing that contains lead or cadmium shall be in accordance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations (Standards 29-CFR) Lead-1010.1025(g) and Cadmium-1910-1027(i). The contractor is to provide rental of storage lockers, dump containers, laundry carts and laundry bags. The contractor responsibility is to size the employees at various locations on site at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA 17201. The quantities for the contract will be estimated annually. This requirement will have individual delivery orders written against the basic contract. This requirement is full and open competition and is a requirements type contract with a base year and four option years. This procurement will be issued as a Request for Quotation and will follow the simplified acquisition procedures. The anticipated award will be 1 September 2000.
