synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. You can request a copy of the
Statement of Work and the Open Source Proposal Evaluation Plan. Point

number is, 202-231-2831. GENERAL: The Joint Military Intelligence
Training Center (JMITC) presents general intelligence training for the
Defense Intelligence Agency, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD),
Unified Commands, Military Services, and other members of the
Intelligence Community. Students receive instruction that emphasizes a
joint, strategic perspective on intelligence from a combination of
student faculty, reservist, adjunct instructors and subject matter
apecialists in the Community. Courses are developed, updated and
maintained by JMITC. The courses and all the related materials are
government-owned property. Changes in law, Executive Orders, and DoD
and DIA regulations and policy as well as on-going events require that
the courses undergo frequent modification to maintain currency,
relevancy, applicability and accuracy. Provide Contract Line Item
Numbers (CLINs), 0001 Professional/Instructional services as described
in the statement of work from date of contract award, through 30
September 2000; 0001AA Up to (7) classroom presentations of INT112
-"Introduction to Open Sources"; 0001AB Up to (7) classroom
presentations of INT113 -"Open Source Search Tools and Strategies";
0001AC Up to (3) Classroom presentations of INT114 -"Open Source
Acquisition Management"; 0002 Manage and Maintain Open Source
Asynchronous Distance Learning capability and OSIS Training Webs; 0003
Up "Open Source Handbook"; 0004 Provide onsite focused training to DIA
elements. The Government intends to award two (2) Option years which
will end in fiscal years 2001 and 2002. The required services for the
Options will be the same as the base year. The following Federal
